The Carrosserie Company sold by Kings Corporate

A well-established and highly respected vintage, classical and historical car restorer located in County Durham has been sold by Kings Corporate.

The Carrosserie Company in Barnard Castle was established back in 2001 and during that time the business has established a truly enviable reputation boasting an extensive and loyal customer base.

The business occupies a prominent and accessible position within a busy business park, ensuring the business is ideally positioned for car enthusiasts who not only travel from the UK but also from overseas.

The Carrosserie Company offers a wide range of bespoke services including design and replica bodywork, mechanical engineering, paintwork, hood frame pantographs and complete interior re-trims.

There is a high-quality team of specialist craftsmen who are all dedicated to restoring and conserving a wide range of unique and one-off cars.

In addition to the restoration work, the business also provides repairs and paintwork for local motorists who drive modern everyday vehicles.

Having owned the business for 20 years owner Dick Francis wished to sell the Company as he and his business partner wanted to retire.

Recognised as the UK’s leading business broker, Kings Corporate were instructed in the sale and our bespoke services delivered the right deal.

The Carrosserie Company received three viewings and two attractive offers and was sold to a first-time buyer who wants to build on the reputation the business currently has.

Upon completion of the sale, the vendor Dick Francis said: “I was delighted with the service from Kings and my negotiator Adam Dell’Armi, who was able to secure a sale in a very quick time. His communication was spot on and effortless, he really listened and worked hard on our behalf. Thank you for your help in achieving this deal.”

Senior Sales Negotiator, Adam Dell’Armi said: “A genuinely happy ending with this deal, with a buyer who was truly delighted to take on the ownership of this fantastic business. Congratulations to all parties.”
