Kings Business recently advised the sale of Chatburn Convenience Store & Post Office, located in Lancashire.
The convenience store is now under new ownership. The buyer of this successful business Mr Ghouse is an experienced buyer and business owner. He is looking forward to relocating to this lovely village and all that his new lifestyle will entail.
The convenience store is heavily relied upon by local villagers, and, over the years, our client has forged strong relationships with the surrounding community and so enjoys an extensive and loyal customer base. Having been in previous ownership for the past 15 years, this first-class business has now only been sold due to retirement.
The store has no direct competition. Occupying a prime trading position that fronts a busy main road and with ample customer parking, it is set amongst an abundance of residential dwellings. As you would expect, the area is a hive of activity throughout the day and this generates high levels of regular local and passing trade.
Our client confirmed: “Thank you Lauren for your efforts, we appreciate this will have been one of your more trying sales.”
Mr Ghouse, the new owner, confirmed that he was happy with the service provided by Kings Business: “Really couldn’t be more grateful for the work put in and the chasing by Lauren. She was always on hand to provide me with updates and was available to speak to and chase anyone who needed chasing. Sorry for all the phone calls but we got there in the end.”
Experienced Sales Negotiator Lauren Lees confirmed: “I am very happy to have sold this business, we experienced numerous hurdles which we had to overcome especially in the later stages of the sale where it was very touch and go. I wish the buyer all the best with his new business and new home and would also like to thank the seller for choosing to sell the business through Kings.”
