Herefordshire Post Office sold to a corporate buyer

St. Weonards Post Office and Convenience Store has been sold to corporate operator Carrot and Wine Stores, advised by Kings Business.

The store, located in Hereford, is surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It offers a wide range of convenience lines including newspapers, magazines, confectionary, frozen foods, and an off-licence.

The business operates six days a week from an excellently sized unit with storage and office space. Additionally, St. Weonards is managed by the owner with full and part-time members of staff.

Our client wished to sell the business to facilitate a lifestyle change and instructed Kings Business in the sale. The buyer, Carrot and Wine Stores, has many similar businesses within their portfolio and was drawn to St. Weonards as they are familiar with the area and the sector.

The buyer intends to continue to successfully run the business and has opened the store immediately with a new manager.
