GGP Systems Ltd, a long-established geographical software provider based in Croydon, Surrey, has been sold to an experienced operator in the technology sector, in a deal facilitated by Kings Corporate. 

Founded in 1992, GGP Systems has grown to become one of the oldest and most experienced GIS and GMS suppliers in the UK. From its inception, the company has remained exclusively focused on serving the UK public sector, building a reputation as a trusted and innovative partner for local authorities nationwide. 

GGP delivers a broad range of solutions developed specifically for local authority operations. These include cloud-based geographic information systems, award-winning gazetteer management software, and systems for street naming and numbering. More recently, the company has expanded into advanced AI tools that support citizen engagement, as well as consulting and training services designed to help public sector organisations embrace digital transformation. 

Over its history, GGP Systems has worked with more than one hundred public sector organisations and today maintains around 30 active clients. A hallmark of the company since its foundation has been its commitment to in-house development, with all products designed, built, and supported entirely in the UK. This ensures seamless integration with local authority systems, compliance with government standards, and exceptional levels of service.
