Forth Engineering Services Ltd, an independent distributor of industrial maintenance parts based in Midlothian, has been sold to McCondichie (Holdings) Ltd, in a deal facilitated by Kings Corporate.
Established in 1995, Forth Engineering Services has earned a strong reputation across Scotland for its reliable supply of high-quality engineering components and exceptional customer service. The business provides a comprehensive range of products from stock, including pneumatics, bearings, castors, hydraulics, power transmission parts, adhesives and lubricants.
The business attracted multiple offers from various trade buyers, ultimately selling close to the asking price after a competitive corporate sales process. Its established customer base, loyal supplier relationships, and consistent trading performance made it a highly desirable acquisition opportunity within the engineering distribution sector.
The clients decided to sell after almost three decades of successful operation. The sale was handled by Laura Ferguson, Deputy Manager, Corporate & Commercial at Kings Corporate.
