Exel Elevator Ltd Sold to Deltron Lifts Ltd
Kings Corporate is pleased to announce the successful sale of Exel Elevator Ltd, a well-established elevator maintenance and repair provider based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, to Deltron Lifts Ltd.
Exel Elevator has been operating across the North East for over 15 years, providing a comprehensive range of lift services to commercial clients in sectors including building management, facilities support, and more. The company has earned a strong reputation for delivering a well-run and reliable service, underpinned by a highly qualified engineering team and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Exel Elevators offers a variety of tailored service agreements, from routine maintenance to full modernisation packages, as well as 24/7 callout and breakdown services. All work is completed in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, and the business holds multiple industry accreditations, including ISO 9001, CHAS, Constructionline, and SafeContractor.
The business has achieved growth through a proactive sales approach, with a dedicated business development manager securing new service contracts across the region. Its portfolio includes both standard lift maintenance and innovative solutions such as Elev8 Air, a system designed to remove odours and bacteria from lifts without harmful chemicals.
The sale attracted strong interest from multiple parties, culminating in a competitive bidding process.
Deltron Lifts Ltd, established in 2003 and operating in a complementary sector, successfully acquired the business. The acquisition represents an excellent strategic fit, allowing Deltron to expand its geographic footprint and service offering across the North East while maintaining the high standards for which Exel Elevator is known. Therefore, clients of Exel Elevator can be confident of continuity and high-quality service under the new ownership.
