Kings Corporate is delighted to announce the successful sale of Complete Freight & Customs Ltd, a UK-based haulage and logistics service provider, to an existing operator in the sector. The business is well-established, offering comprehensive transport solutions and providing both compliance and logistical support to a diverse range of commercial clients across the region.
The Dorking-headquartered company serves approximately 35 commercial clients and has built long-standing relationships that provide considerable opportunities for growth. Operating with a lean team of three, including the Customs and Freight Director whose extensive experience and industry connections have been integral to the business, Complete Freight & Customs Ltd attracted significant interest from multiple parties, resulting in high bids.
Despite its current scale, the business fulfils only a fraction of the available work within its existing network, presenting significant scope for expansion. The new owner can leverage these established client relationships and untapped capacity to grow the business further, either by serving new sectors or increasing activity with existing clients.
The client has chosen to pursue other business interests, offering a clear opportunity for the existing operator in the haulage and logistics sector to acquire a fully operational business with an excellent regional reputation.
This acquisition centred on the transfer of established client contracts and relationships, with the buyer already possessing the requisite transport fleet and operational facilities. As an existing operator in the sector, the purchaser sought to integrate these proven client portfolios into their existing infrastructure, enabling immediate revenue growth without capital-intensive asset investment. This approach is increasingly common in the haulage and logistics industry, where established operators expand by aligning new contract portfolios with their existing operational capacity.
