B&P Convenience Stores, based in Burnley, has been sold by Kings Business. The general store is well-established and is popular with the local residents in East Lancashire.
This fantastic shop has operated successfully in the area under current ownership for the last 35 years and has earned excellent reputation and enjoys strong profit figures.
The business therefore has an extensive and loyal customer base attracting repeat trade from the immediate vicinity.
The shop operates from highly visible end terraced shop premises, which is presented to a very high standard.
Having operated the successful business for many years, the owner, Mr Shah, wanted to sell the store to enjoy his well-deserved retirement and Kings Business were instructed in the sale.
Following our bespoke marketing and research campaign, B&P Convenience Stores received a lot of interest and three strong offers were submitted.
The successful buyer, Umar Mohammed, is a first-time purchaser with retail experience and he said location and potential to start his own business was the reasons why he purchased the store.
Upon completion of the sale, Mr Shah said: “I had total faith in Adam Dell’Armi to sell the business and insisted on him dealing with the process throughout. Thank you again for all your support.
“Due to a change in personal circumstances and the risk of Covid, I accelerated my plans to retire and I wanted a buyer that would carry forward the well-established reputation of the business.
“Adam gave me confidence from the minute he took over the sale of the family business and he has guided us to a more than satisfactory conclusion. His communication was spot on and nothing was ever trouble for him throughout.”
Umar Mohammed said: “Adam Dell’Armi has supported from the beginning and tried everything he could to keep the sale moving to completion.
“Thank you for all your help during these times. I can’t wait to get started.”
Senior Sales Negotiator, Adam Dell’Armi said: “A really satisfying sale as they usually are when a retirement is involved, but through the process I got to know a bit more about the family and the history of the store.
“I am sure the new owner will take it on and look after the local community as had been the case for many years.”
